CFBT’s Fitness & Wellness Programmes

At CFBT, we believe that a healthy body nurtures a healthy mind. Our Fitness & Wellness Programmes are designed to promote holistic development— physical, mental, and emotional—for school children across all age groups. These initiatives focus on building resilience, confidence, safety awareness, and life skills through structured interventions.

 Sports programme - Age appropriate curricular activities

CFBT's sports curriculum is age-appropriate, inclusive, and skill-based. Aligned with physical development milestones, our programme introduces:

 

Foundational movement & motor skills in early years (Grades 1–4).

 

Team sports, endurance, and coordination training in middle school (Grades 5–8). Fitness routines, athletics, and leadership through sports in high school (Grades 9–12).

 

These structured activities not only promote physical fitness, but also instill values like teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The curriculum can be adapted to school timetables and infrastructure, ensuring every child gets to participate and thrive.

 

 2. Self defence for girls – Strength through Confidence

Empowering girls is a core mission at CFBT. Our Self-Defence for Girls programme equips adolescent girls with the confidence and ability to protect themselves through:

CFBT believes that self-defence begins with self-confidence, and fitness is the foundation of both. Our initiative on Self-Defence through Fitness equips students—especially girls—with the strength, awareness, and presence of mind to protect themselves.

Functional fitness and reflex training

Basic martial arts and defence techniques

Awareness sessions on personal boundaries and safe responses

 

Trained professionals conduct the sessions, fostering courage, alertness, and self-assurance—ensuring our girls grow up strong, fearless, and selfreliant.

3. First Aid & Life Saving Skills

 

​CFBT has partnered with our NGO partner, a pioneer in emergency response training, to deliver First Aid & Life-Saving Skills training for students, teachers, and school staff.

Key highlights include:

  • Emergency response protocols for accidents, burns, injuries, and medical crises.

  • Hands-on training in CPR, wound care, choking management, and bleeding control.

  • Building a culture of preparedness among students to be first responders in real-life situations.

This initiative empowers schools to become safer and more selfsufficient ecosystems, where every individual can contribute to saving lives during emergencies.
